1. Scope of Services


HUGS Nursing and Support

provides nurse-led disability support services to NDIS participants.


Our services are delivered in accordance with the NDIS Practice Standards, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and relevant Australian laws and regulations.


Services offered include, but are not limited to:


Clinical and high-intensity nursing careMental health recovery and behavioural supportDaily living assistanceCapacity-building supportsTelehealth and health educationCommunity participation assistance


All services are delivered based on individual service agreements and tailored to each participant’s needs and goals.


2. Eligibility


You must be an eligible NDIS participant (self-managed, plan-managed, or agency-managed) or an authorised representative to access our services.


We reserve the right to assess suitability before entering into any service agreement.


3. Service Agreements


Before commencing services, a Service Agreement will be provided outlining:


Services to be deliveredAssociated fees and chargesResponsibilities of both partiesCancellation policiesComplaint and feedback procedures


Both parties must agree and sign the Service Agreement prior to service delivery.


4. Fees and Charges


All fees are in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide (subject to updates) and will be outlined in your Service Agreement.


Where applicable, you may be responsible for any co-payments or costs not covered by your NDIS plan.


Invoices are issued according to the terms specified in your Service Agreement.


5. Cancellation Policy


We require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.


If sufficient notice is not provided, a cancellation fee may apply, in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.


6. Confidentiality and Privacy


We are committed to protecting your privacy.


All personal and sensitive information is collected, stored, and managed in accordance with the

Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)

7. Complaints and Feedback


Your feedback is valued and helps us improve.


If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, you have the right to make a complaint without fear of retribution.

8. Participant Responsibilities


Participants (or their representatives) agree to:


Provide accurate and complete informationCommunicate changes that may affect service deliveryTreat HUGS Nursing and Support staff with respect and dignityComply with reasonable directions during service delivery to ensure safety


9. Changes to Services


We reserve the right to vary, suspend, or discontinue services if:


The participant’s needs changeThere is a health and safety riskFunding arrangements changeCircumstances beyond our control occur


Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided in advance.


10. Website Use


By accessing our website, you agree not to:

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.


Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
